Mark Skidmore


Mark works at the intersection of politics, culture, data and media and uses these core pillars to drive business outcomes for his companies and clients. He is currently Co-Founder and CEO of Assemble, a creative media company that focuses on building support for campaigns, causes and brands. He is also on the Board of Advisors at For Freedoms, an artist led platform that launched the largest public art campaign in U.S. History. 

Previously, Mark was a Founding Partner and Chief Strategist of Bully Pulpit Interactive (BPI), the firm behind President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton's presidential campaigns. During his time at BPI he helped grow the firm into the market leader in politics and public affairs. He also co-founded one of the first media technology companies in politics. 

His broad range of political work includes launching President Barack Obama's re-election campaign, developing the DSCC IE's digital program and running the digital advertising operations for Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Tammy Duckworth, and Claire McCaskill, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Mayors Rahm Emanuel and Bill de Blasio. 

Mark has worked across dozens of issue campaigns and has engineered some of the toughest victories across the country. In 2014 he led the effort to create the Women's Equality Party in New York State. Through Marylanders for Marriage Equality he helped Maryland become the first state to pass marriage equality by popular vote. He also worked on the grassroots effort to help pass the American Care Act. Mark was a senior advisor to Livestrong and helped create the single largest day of advocacy for cancer survivors in history during the 2011 UN Summit. During the Winter Games in Vancouver he led digital marketing campaigns for the U.S. Olympic Committee.  

He continually applies lessons from his political and corporate work. He has served as a senior advisor to a Fortune 100 investment bank, a Fortune 500 retailer, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Nike and many others. 

Committed to helping entrepreneurs and businesses, he is an active investor and business advisor to emerging companies in the media and data space, including: Analytics Media Group and MedPillot Inc. 

Mark lives and works in New York City and can be frequently found on Amtrak's northeast corridor.



Chris Falls

Co-founder & Head of integrated media

Chris has spent the last decade building and growing companies across the media landscape, spanning digital, broadcast, cable and film.  

Prior to co-founding Assemble, Chris was Managing Director at Politico in New York where he helped launch the publisher's first acquisition and foray outside the beltway, followed by the expansion of their states operations, ultimately leading strategy, business development, advertising, events, production, subscriptions & client services.  

He was also formerly head of political & advocacy advertising at ABC7-WJLA and NewsChannel8 in Washington, DC, where he developed and managed the broadcaster's market-leading share of what was the highest political media spend of any US market during the then record-breaking 2012 election cycle.  

Before entering the political arena, Chris spent time in Los Angeles where he launched a boutique production company and consulted on the marketing and distribution of independent feature film projects. 

Chris got his start with Viamedia, the leading US independent media rep firm, managing partnerships and monetizing local, regional and national scatter inventory for cable & MVPD providers across the country.  He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Finance, and lives in Manhattan with his wife and son.



Eve Samborn McCool

co-founder & chief strategist

Eve is an accomplished digital strategist who has raised more than $10 million online for Democratic candidates and progressive causes, driven millions of advocacy and volunteer engagements and recruited hundreds of thousands of new supporters and followers.

Prior to co-founding Assemble, Eve was the Vice President of Campaigns at Revolution Messaging, where she managed supporter mobilization programs for Democratic campaigns, party committees and nonprofits.

Eve served as the Digital Director for Tammy Duckworth’s 2012 congressional campaign, where she pioneered online fundraising for House campaigns. She established then-Congresswoman Duckworth’s official office digital presence as one of the first digital directors in the House of Representatives. She also served as Digital Director for Senator Duckworth’s 2016 victory.
